Help fund Marissa's new short film "Max Distance." The film is fully casted and crewed.

We need to raise money because movies cost a lot :( Our goal is $6000.

We appreciate any amount, even 1 dollar helps!

If you want to make a tax deductible donation, you can since we are fiscally sponsored by Film Independent (better for larger donations) click here.

About Max Distance

Logline: During jargon-laden Zoom meetings, a programmer daydreams about an eccentric stranger who lives next door, until a lightbulb moment prompts her to leverage her skills for a shot at love.

Accolades: This project is fiscally sponsored by Film independent, a quarter finalist in the Screencraft Film Fund and finalist for the Nuvee Starter Fund. At the very least, this means that I am not the only person that believes in this project. You can read FI’s Letter of support if you want. But no problem if you can’t read.

The first priority is paying the crew. It is a 4 day shoot and this adds up very quickly. The rest of the money goes to gear rental, food, and editing. We have raised a portion of the budget and only are asking for what we really need.
